Print care

these prints are made on archival pigment inks and 100% cotton rag papers, rated to last over 100 years in normal display conditions. all of this is only to help the print last. but it's yours now, so put it where you'll love looking at it most.. even the kitchen, if that's where your eyes go.

but if you want it to last as long as it can, here's what i'd suggest:

cotton rag is closer to cloth than to paper, so hold your prints by the edges, the way you'd hold a negative. the image surface is sensitive to oils from the skin.

keep them out of direct sun. behind UV glass, the pigment will outlive all of us.

humidity is the quiet enemy. steam and damp age a print faster, so a dry room is kindest.

if you frame, use an acid-free mat and leave a small gap between the print and the glass.

dust with nothing. air is enough.

Storage: keep flat or rolled in the original tube, in a dry place, out of direct sunlight.
